How Roll Forming Corporation develops talent

Roll Forming Corporation, based in Shelbyville, KY, is a long-time client of The Oliver Group. Using a process called roll forming in which coils of flat metal are formed into custom shapes and cross-sections, Roll Forming Corporation (RFC) creates custom products for a wide range of industries, from aerospace and office equipment to railways and windows. RFC is a division of voestalpine AG, one of Europe’s largest steel producing and processing companies. RFC is operated by a US-based team out of Shelbyville, KY, and it has quadrupled its growth in the last 10 years, from $30 million to $125 million. Today the company has 6 plants in 3 states with 350 employees.

Roll Forming and The Oliver Group have been partners for many years. RFC has been working with The Oliver Group for 25 years, utilizing the Predictive Index® (PI®) assessment tool, which measures the motivating needs of individuals and provides objective insights to organizations about employees. In 2002 RFC turned to The Oliver Group for help to develop its employees. Oliver Group worked with RFC in multiple areas to develop its talent and ensure that its leaders were positioned for performance as the organization grew.
