Oliver Group Hires Three Area Directors in Mid-West Markets

Louisville, KY (January 15, 2017) — Oliver Group, a leadership consulting firm, announced that Jay Schindler, Bruce McKay and Jon Head have joined the company to develop a growing portfolio of client accounts through-out the Mid-West. These new area directors will be key contributors to Oliver Group’s continued success in the talent and leadership development industry.

Schindler will serve the Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio markets. He has a strong background in both business management and sales, having worked his way through the ranks at Dayton-based company, ESKCO, to ultimately lead that organization and create substantial contributions to improved efficiency and revenue. Subsequent to that, Schindler focused exclusively on sales, honing his skills at Teradata, an extremely fast-growing company offering a suite of IT solutions for clients, where he was able to achieve marked success around a complex and technical offering. Schindler earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Taylor University and his Master’s in Business from Everest University.

McKay has held progressive positions in marketing, sales and general management for leading companies in Canada including Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Kraft Foods, Moosehead Breweries and Maple Leaf Foods. In 2004, he moved to the U.S. and led sales groups at major packaging companies within the consumer goods industry including Alcan, Bemis and Mondi. Most recently, McKay has been building leadership groups as well as providing career counseling and coaching to executives. He has a Business Degree from the University of Manitoba and an MBA/CMA in Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. McKay will develop Oliver Group’s client base in the greater St. Louis, Missouri area.

Head will serve clients throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Head has extensive experience in sales and sales management, having worked within the insurance and healthcare industries since 1993. He has managed and directed complex multi-channel and multi-state sales teams at regional and national companies including Edumedics, Neace Lukens, Humana and Anthem BCBS. He has achieved success implementing innovative sales and lead generating processes for Fortune 100 companies. Head has Business Communications and Government degrees from Eastern Kentucky University and is a member of Central Kentucky Association of Health Underwriters and the Kentucky High School Athletic Association.
