Leaders focus on listening. You ensure that your followers are smarter than you, more competent than you and more current than you. Therefore, they have the answers – you don’t. This is important because if your followers look to you for the answers, they lose their edge and the answers you provide are likely not the best. LISTEN and you will learn to ask the questions that will allow people to learn, grow and eventually lead themselves.
